The Golden Bear Air Mattress includes both memory foam and latex. You can swap the positions of the latex and memory foam to change the feel of the mattress, or replace both or either at any time. The dual zipper Eternal PillowTop design allows you to change the feel of your mattress and keep it like new for years to come.

Whether you need a pillowtop or not should be relevant to your pressure reduction needs. Side sleepers tend to have more pressure points at the hips for instance. So the higher profile pillowtop might be a good choice. People with lower back problems tend to need more support and less foam. For a little extra softness you may wish to have a resilient light and airy convoluted foam layer. More supportive would be the Visco-elastic memory foam which helps relieve pressure points. Or if you would prefer a naturally conforming foam that is not temperature sensitive and will remain new-like for the life of the bed, you may want to consider our favorite, which is Latex. Nature has provided us with this wonderful foam, tapped from the rubber tree. It naturally springs back to the same shape each and every time; unlike the slow recovery characteristics found in the synthetic elasticity of memory foam. It too will help with your pressure points as well as offer different degrees of support.

All of our air beds come with cross baffled vulcanized rubber air chambers. Designed for maximum airflow in all directions, the air chambers create the proper spinal alignment required for pain free sleep. The adjustable bed design also allows sleeping in the center of the dual models without the need of a foam wedge and with no sensation of rolling to either the middle or the edge. By sealing the web reinforced air hose with flexible rubber at the time of chamber manufacturing, the entire assembly becomes a single unit with no external connections eliminating the concern of air loss. The adjustable bed chambers are made from a durable 25 Mil rubber and are designed to provide support for years to come.
