We collect information from you in several different ways on this Site, however, you are not required to register or provide any personal information in order to browse the Site and learn more about our company and our products. For example, you may send us personal information when you send us an email, call our customer service department, subscribe to Bear Beds communications, use the chat/chatbot function on our website, or when you participate in a marketing campaign. Please note that your contact with us, including but not limited to calls, chats, and/or emails, may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and research/analytical purposes.

 

Taking a Survey

From time to time, we may contact you to participate in optional online surveys. If you do decide to participate, you may be asked to provide certain information which may include personal information.

 

For example, we use independent vendors for our review process and these vendors are independent companies that permit shoppers to rate their experiences in visiting and shopping at online stores. After placing an order on the Site, you may receive the opportunity to provide feedback on your experience. This choice is optional and will not affect your order or service from us regardless of whether or not you choose to provide feedback. Cookies

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your device’s hard drive through your web browser. Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate our websites or webpages, while others are used to enable a faster log-in process or to allow us to track your activities while using our websites or webpages. For example, we may share information to reduce the risk of fraud or if someone uses or attempts to use the Site for illegal reasons or to commit fraud.

Please note that even if you opt out, you will continue to see generic advertising that is not tailored to your specific interests and activities. To be clear, the opt-outs must be performed on each device and in every browser that you wish to have opted-out. For example, if you have opted out on your desktop computer, that opt-out will not be effective on your mobile device. You must separately opt out on each device. Children’s Information

 

We respect children’s privacy. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children under age 13. Under CPRA, residents of California may exercise employee rights. If applicable, we provide employees with certain rights regarding your personal data, subject to certain exceptions and limitations, such as the:

 

Right to request access to the personal data we have collected about you, restrict the processing of specific pieces of personal information we collected about you and learn how we collect this information, our purpose in collecting it,

Right to correct or delete the personal data we have collected from you,

Right to opt-out of our sale(s) of your personal data,

Note, only you, or a person or business entity registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf (an “authorized agent”), may make the requests set forth above. The request should include your contact information and describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. In addition, you should provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected the personal information or an authorized representative of that person. Response Timing and Format.  In order to protect the security of your personal information, we will not honor a request if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. The method used to verify your identity will depend on the type, sensitivity, and value of the information, including the risk of harm to you posed by any authorized access or deletion. Generally speaking, verification will be performed by matching the identifying information provided by you to the personal information that we already have.

 

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request (and will not be made more than twice in a 12-month period). If we cannot comply with a request, or cannot fully comply with a request, the response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply.

 

Personal Information Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights.  In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have made disclosures of certain personal information that may be considered a “sale” (as that term is defined in the CCPA) of certain personal information of California consumers.
