The Teddy Bear dual adjustable air mattress is the model that started it all! If you are someone who doesn’t like a lot of fluff (both literally and figuratively), you’ll love this mattress. The core of the Teddy Bear is the same as its “fancier” siblings - the same sophisticated digital controls, the same supportive I-beam constructed air chambers, and the same quiet, powerful, internal pump. What it doesn’t have is a lot of extra material between you and the air chambers. For some, this is just what the doctor ordered. Less material between the chambers and the sleeper means that most of the support and comfort are provided by the air chambers themselves. Sleepers who like a firm mattress will love the Teddy Bear. When you crank up the support by adding air to the chambers, you’ll feel it. The same is true when you lower the firmness level; adjustments are felt quickly, giving the sleeper precise control of their preferred firmness level.
But that doesn’t mean we’ve completely forgotten about the necessary cushioning of the top-most comfort layer. Just beneath the stretch-knit plush top is a contouring, super soft, 5-zone anatomic support layer, and beneath that are three other comfort layers, including a moisture management layer. We believe this carefully designed cushioning is just enough to provide the appropriate buffer between the sleeper and the core of the mattress while keeping the Teddy Bear as a true “air first” air bed. If down the road you or your partner would like just a bit more from your cushioning layer, you can always add a topper (memory foam, latex, a feather bed, etc.) to “cushion up” that top layer a bit. This is especially helpful if your partner wants the bed really firm and you want that cushiony feel – half the bed gets a topper, half doesn’t. Voila! Everybody’s happy.

We know how important good sleep is, and we want to work with you to make sure that you get the kind of sleep you want and deserve. The best first step in this process is to work with our sleep experts and let them help you select the right mattress for you the first time. Our sleep trial is a great tool in the selection process, but the best outcome for both us and our customers is for new BearBeds owners to be happy with their purchase. However, if despite our combined best efforts you find that your new BearBed is not right for you, we offer the best sleep trial in the business.
Here’s how it works:

Because it can take some time for your body to adjust to a new mattress, we ask that you sleep on your new BearBed for a minimum of 30 days prior to making any changes. While in many cases customers rave about their new BearBed after the first night’s sleep, others will need a few weeks to get used to a new mattress. Trying your new BearBed for at least 30 days will give your body the chance to adjust to the new mattress.

If you find that you are still uncomfortable on your new BearBed after 30 days, contact us. There might be a solution that’s easier than returning and/or exchanging your BearBed. Let’s chat and find out

If despite our best efforts, you are still uncomfortable on your BearBed, you can take advantage of our extremely liberal return or exchange policy.

Customers must initiate the return and/or exchange prior to the end of the 120 calendar-day sleep trial.

Customers are not charged a fee to return or exchange.

For returns, customers will receive the full product price of the mattress less the value of any discount, interest accrued, and shipping charges, to the original form of payment.

We will ship your new bed to you anywhere in the United States (except Alaska and Hawaii) for free via ground freight UPS, FedEx, or Common Carrier (freight company). For rates to Alaska, Hawaii, and other countries, give us a call and we will quote you a price.
Each air bed from Bear Beds is compressed and rolled into a single box. This means each can be shipped pre-assembled in one box via FedEx or UPS. Unpacking is incredibly easy. Simply lay the mattress on the foundation, remove the plastic wrap, unroll and unfold the bed, and plug it in. It's that easy!
